Police presence in Arlesey

Residents in Arlesey will see a continued police presence in the area over the coming days as part of an ongoing investigation.  

Police were called yesterday (Thursday) to concerns of suspicious substances being stored at a property in Lymans Road, Arlesey. 

Specialist emergency services resources remain at the scene, and a search of the property is ongoing. 

An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody for questioning. 

We understand this may cause concern, and we want to reassure residents that public safety remains our priority. At this time, we do not believe there is any risk to the wider community, and no properties have been evacuated. 

Our scene guard will remain in place over the weekend as enquiries continue.
