Not My Child: A parent’s guide to exploitation, knife crime and county lines returns to Luton tomorrow (Wednesday 15 April) from 6pm to 9.15pm at Lealands High School.

Hosted by Bedfordshire Police and Bedfordshire's Violence and Exploitation Prevention Partnership (VEPP), the event brings together frontline experts, youth and support organisations, and people with lived experience to shine a light on the realities of exploitation and gang involvement - and, crucially, what parents and carers can do if they’re worried about a child.
Guest speakers include the Ivison Trust, Everyone’s Gang, and a policing expert specialising in knife crime and the influence of social media on gangs.
Attendees will also be able to visit the market stall area to speak directly with services, learn the warning signs to look out for, and find out what support is available locally. Some of the organisations set to be there include:
