Vehicle Interference

VEHICLE INTERFERENCE

We are aware of a recent spike in vehicle interference and theft from motor vehicle within the local community. One common tactic utilised is checking door handles with the hope of it being unlocked.  It is an opportunistic act where numerous consecutive vehicles will be attempted.

Please remain extra vigilant making sure vehicles are securely locked and no valuable items are left within the vehicle or visible.

We are taking several steps to identify those responsible and bring the spate to a halt.

In light of this, we will be holding static events in the prominent locations.

If you have any questions, concerns or information, I will be available on the following:

16th February: Arlesey – Resource Centre on the High Street – 10:30-11:15

16th February: Stotfold – Co-operative store on Mulberry close – 11:30-12:15

16th February: Fairfield – Tesco Express store on Dickens Boulevard – 12:30-13:15
