Dear Residents,

Bedfordshire Police want to support our Watch groups and promote their work, Biggleswade especially are looking for more volunteers. 

SPEEDWATCH is a scheme to help people reduce traffic speeding through their neighbourhood. This is volunteers supported by Bedfordshire Police committing to at least 2 hours a month, using Police equipment to record the speed of vehicles, the data is then used by Police to advise driver of excessive speeding.

STREETWATCH is run by local residents promoting good citizenship and supporting a stronger community. Patrols are completed in pairs for a minimum of 2 hours a month.
