There has been a recent spike of burglaries within the Marston Moretaine area - research shows this may happen in other areas in the county. As the nights are getting darker earlier, we are encouraging the public to be extra vigilant to keep their homes safe. 

Please follow the below advice:

- Shut & lock all windows and doors when you leave home/going to bed

- Keep your car keys out of sight

- Utilise CCTV cameras where possible

- Keep valuables away from cat/dog flaps

- Install burglar alarms

- Make sure your gates are locked

- Keep lights on when out in the evening
